TITLE:
DESCRIPTION: Shirley's watercolour, (she also did the collage) shows an understanding of the priciples I tend to stress. The petals fade into the background in places, there is variety of value and colour on the whites as well as warm against cool colour. There is a bit of evidence of outlining but look closely, this has primitive and sophisticated qualities going on at the same time.
