DESCRIPTION: Paula has very clean smooth washes in the background. I think the dark on the right is exaggerated by the lighting in the photograph. She has used the scraping technique to get some whites on the stems, this is an effective method if you catch the paper at just the right moment. Nice grouping of petals. Could have a bit more shape in the feature flowers so just few petals are disitinct.
