TITLE:
DESCRIPTION: Mary is in Seattle and came to Victoria for my last workshop and a visit to our fine city. She has, like several others, treated this as a very linear painting. Very strong but sensitive drawing, very minimal with the paint. This suggests applications such as fine fabric design or embroidery, etc. I would like to invite those who feel safe in the world of drawing to enter the scary world of three dimensional paint. Look at the paintings here that have space behind the flowers, darks that let you reach into the image as if the surface wasn't there at all.
