Judy has used bright and lively colour which keeps our attention in the center where it should be. A nice loose treatment and soft edges that relieve the starkness we get from masking fluid. This makes the flowers and background unite and belong together. The cropping could be tighter in order to make the flowers larger. The stems fade nicely to avoid an abrupt end. The background darks are a bit too red and want to come forward, if they were greener or maybe a bit bluer, they would recede and help push the flowers forward.
