DESCRIPTION: This is very refined work and well rendered. Rendering is a term we used in commercial art that means taking the time to make an object look convincing. There is a pleasant simplicity that makes this painting very easy to enjoy. In this case I would not risk trying to soften edges unless it could be done without smugging. If the background was allowed to bleed right off the edge it would avoid the vignette effect. Another powerful image.
