TITLE:
DESCRIPTION: Ed is at the stage where a full appreciation of negative painitng is realised. This is a great example of the care required to avoid getting paint on the positive form and yet keeping a casual shape to the flowers. Working with two colours lets us concentrate on the things we are trying to learn and not have to worry about mixing. The next challenge would be to see if you can mix a bit more variation in the background colour, still working with two pigments. Then design a background that uses all the canvas. Good work.
