DESCRIPTION: Carola is in Belgium and this painting is done with Winsor Newton watercolours on 300g Hahnemuller etching paper. This is a great example of variation in the background and a mix of hard and soft edges on the daisies. Notice how, by having some soft edges the flowers and background belong together. If the smaller flowers had a slight wash of blue grey, it would push them back a bit. Lots of life and motion here.
